Hi guys, I have a quantum lct20 20gb, it recognizes and you can test it with MHDD cx command for hours, this means that the PCB is ok, also you can perform the scan command in MHDD and the scan shows you a very nice midia only the middle gray, but it don't let you perform the erase command, ven the aerase command, also you can try the wippe, the zerofill from quantum, nothing works, anyone here already saw this ?, any ideia of what I can do ?

Hi Ruterian, sorry for the other psot, sometimes I made some mistakes here , because of the Russian language.
Now I put system on the hard disk using the ontrack DM version 9.53, and the drive is with system, but it still don't let me do a erase or aerase with MHDD, any ideia ?

Try any other version, for example 2.64f or 2743.
(how to translate a word "sugestion" i do not know...)

This program costs $300, in our country it is very large money (average worker earns $200-300 per 1 month). But if to repair HDD, and them a lot of, such program pays off for 1 months :)

About the money - U$300, 00 here in Brasil is a lot of money, a worker here earns about U$100 to U$150, 00 per month of work, this is a miserable country, a few persons have money, and we have 35 millions people that has nothing to eat, and when I say nothing is nothing, and we have 50 millions thats leaves "below of the line of misery", and here the population is 170 millions.
This is very sad, but is our reallity.
Do you know where I can find something to read about the HDD.EXE ?, something that tell me what it really does ?
and who sell it ?

Hi Anrey, what you are saying is what I know, this is like the old's vapoware, or maybe like god, everybody hear evebody say coments everyone knows thats it exist, but noone see it or even had it until know.
I already say that I pay to have it, no problem, because I really need a nice tool to fix hard disks.
I'm having a lot of problems and I'm trying to solve thems but until know I couldn't buy a util from russian's, even the guys from Acelab, at this moment they do not anwser my emails, I send 20 emails to EPOS alb in kiev and they also don't anwser me, the guys from HDD repair tool tell me that they couldn't sell this product to me.
This are my problems know

You are completely right. The good tool very much is necessary for work.
HDD.EXE on a solution of the founders to be sold will not be.
Money it is not important.
I and me the similar people too require this utility, but it do not sell.
It is a pity that such tool remains only at the founders.
It is very a pity that everyone do not answer you.

I understand what you say, doesn't matter if your english is bad, mine isn't very nice too, when we want, we can make a conversation with a few words, I think that this "changes" can make everybody earn something.
Has only a few persons that talk with me : you , Ruteriam , Dmitry Postrigan, Reset, Wingy, and I send emails for more or less 30 people, I think why ?, I live in Brasil , is a thousand miles far way from Russia, what is the problem ?
